More and more writers are writing YA urban fantasy books. They can not keep up with the young readers who are reading them. Finding a list of good and trusted publishers is getting more and more difficult as the agents become publishers and publishers are in a period of great change. The current solution is to build a business from the ground up. Self-publishing, made possible by great algorithm and current tech gives a great solution to writers and established authors.
You will find a lot of ethnic publishers, specially black/African-American publishers, Asian publishers, Hispanic publishers and Native American publishers who are interested in receiving all kinds of submissions. Obviously, you have the large group of other publishers who accept and review all submissions. Make sure you follow their submission rules.
